"Das Gallo ist ein sehr schönes familiengeführtes, mittelgroßes Hotel in Tignale. Das Personal ist ausnahmslos sehr freundlich und immer sehr Hilfsbereit. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer mit Seeblick gebucht. Dies ist auch sehr zu empfehlen, da die Zimmer zur Straßenseite sicher mit Verkehrslärm zu kämpfen haben. Motorräder drehen in der Kehre vor dem Hotel gern am Gasgriff. Das Hotel ist in einem sehr ordentlichen Zustand und verfügt über einen kleinen aber sehr schönen Pool. Es gibt auch einen Whirlpool...

"It does not have a pool. This is the main reason for booking this accommodation. It has a photo showing a lovely pool area. It does not have this. Other negatives - only one plug socket in room - no where near a mirror or tv. No coffee making facilities in room. Paid 130 euro in taxi fair as they did not reply to 3 messages regarding check in and their advert said check in was 3-6 with no after hours check in. Was meant to be my 50th birthday treat - i was so disappointed. Also no air con remote...

"The front desk staff were mean. They are not welcoming at all. They seem to have forgotten that they are in the hospitality industry. There was no bell man upon my arrival. Additionally, On my departure when I asked for a bell man it felt like pulling teeth. When they finally agreed to provide the bell man, he only brought my heavy bags and only to the front desk and not closet or into my car. Overall, the customer service was poor"

"Lovely stay with stunning Lake Garda views Positive: Beautiful lake and mountain views from bedroom balcony and all around the hotel. Excellent staff, great continental breakfast with unlimited prosecco, and just a 7-min walk to Limone Centro. The gift of wine on departure was a thoughtful touch. Negative: Rooms very clean but a little dated. Doors and safe use keys instead of electronic access. No kettle (seems common in some Italian hotels) or water in the fridge. Phone to reception didn’t work, and the bed was slightly creaky but comfortable. Travel Tip – Getting to Limone: Taxis from Verona Airport are very expensive. A cheaper option is the 482 bus to Garda (1hr 20mins) then the 483 bus to Malcesine (40mins with a small luggage fee) followed by a ferry to Limone (20mins). Note - there are two ferry points in Limone. Renting a car is easier, but parking can be limited and some hotels charge a daily fee."
